You Don’t Need Confidence to Start — Just Courage

There’s something so tender — and powerful — about the very beginning of a journey.

You don’t have it all figured out.

Did you know that the word confidence comes from the Latin confidere, which means “with trust”?

That’s beautiful… but also tricky.

Because when you're doing something for the very first time — like launching a course, offering a new service, or showing up more visibly in your business — how can you trust something you’ve never done before?

Of course it feels uncertain. Of course you don’t know what will happen.

Confidence grows through experience.
It arrives later — after the doing. After the failing. After the messy, human learning curve.

So if you’re waiting to feel confident before you begin?
You might be waiting forever.

💖 What You Do Have Already? Courage.

Courage comes from the Latin cor — meaning heart.

Courage is what lets you take a step into the unknown.
It’s what allows you to move forward even when you’re shaky.
It’s what whispers, “I’m scared… and I’m still showing up.”

This is the bold, beautiful energy I see in every woman who says yes to her vision — not because she feels ready, but because she feels called.
